On August 20, 2026, Shenzhen-based small kitchen appliance brand Kismile launched its 5QT AeroLucen glass air fryer, a model that signals where the category is heading: transparent cooking chambers, coating-free food contact surfaces, and faster heat-up without preheating.
The AeroLucen replaces the conventional coated metal basket with a high-borosilicate glass barrel, allowing users to watch food caramelize and crisp in real time and adjust mid-cycle. Critically for export markets, the glass barrel and crisper plate carry no PFAS-based nonstick coating, eliminating the peeling and chemical-migration concerns that increasingly drive regulatory scrutiny in the EU and North America. Both parts are dishwasher safe, and an included lid lets the glass bowl double as prep, serving, or storage tableware.
On performance, Kismile pairs a 3,600 RPM high-speed DC motor with PID temperature control and a 1,500W carbon fiber heating element. The company reports 0.5 lb of frozen fries in as little as 8 minutes and a whole chicken in 30 minutes with no preheating. The temperature range spans 90°F to 450°F, covering dough proofing through broiling. A Cool-Loop airflow structure keeps the touch panel cool during operation, while a four-color dynamic speed ring on the top panel communicates fan speed and cooking mode at a glance.
Two design details stand out for OEM and ODM buyers. A reversible Magic Crisper Plate converts the cavity between a full 5-quart capacity and a 2.5-quart configuration that sits closer to the heat source for more efficient roasting. And the 9.7-inch body is dimensioned to fit standard kitchen cabinets, addressing the countertop-footprint objection that limits repeat purchases in compact urban kitchens.
The AeroLucen is available in pearl and onyx at an MSRP of $159 through Amazon and Kismile.com. For brands sourcing air fryers, the takeaway is clear: glass barrels, PFAS-free construction, DC high-speed motors, and visible-cooking feedback are moving from premium differentiators to buyer expectations.
